- Kristen Stewart has green eyes, she uses brown contacts to play Bella.

- All actors use golden contacts to play the Cullens. They're eyes were not modified with CGI.

- Kellan Lutz kept his haircut from the movie "Generation Kill". It didn't grow back in time for Twilight so he kept it that way.

Twilighters who are dying to be in the next movie New Moon, read this! Acting 411 has now updated the blog with new auditions information.




New Moon Casting Director for Native Americans, Rene Haynes, is holding auditions to find Native American teens. She is seeking young men 15 to 20 years of age, and young women between the ages of 18 to 20, for speaking roles in the upcoming Twilight sequel, New Moon. The auditions will be held at the Phoenix Indian Center.


No acting experience is necessary, just an out-going enthusiasm and the desire to be a positive role model for other Native Youth. Please do not call the Phoenix Indian Center. Casting calls can take time - please be prepared to wait if necessary. If you plan on attending and would like to receive the short audition scene in advance so that you can prepared for your audition please request the material before Feb. 2 at talent@rhcasting.comDO NOT email Rene Haynes for any other reason at this time. You must put “Phoenix” in the subject line of your e-mail and just indicate “scene please” in the e-mail. MediaBlvd.com has an interview with Solomon Trimble, the actor who plays Sam on the movie.

MediaBlvd > You didn’t have any scenes with Robert Pattinson, but did you get to meet him at all?

Solomon Trimble > I didn’t have any scenes with Rob, but I saw some pre-production clips and knew that he was crazy talented. I met Rob twice, but every time we met, he had to pee. I saw him at lunch, one day, on set, and I extended my hand and said, “I’m Solomon. I’m playing Sam,” and he replied, “Sorry, I’ve got to piss.” Some crew member asked me “Did he just snub you?,” and I said, “No, the man has to pee.” The next time I got a chance to talk to him was after the premiere. I was hanging out with Catherine and her whole crew, up on the rooftop of some bar in L.A., and I saw Rob and he was like, “Damn, every time we meet, I’ve got to piss,” and he walked by me. Later that night, we traded phone numbers and I sent him a text saying, “This is Solomon/Sam.” Then, I memorized the number and took it out of my phone because I have a habit of losing my phone when I jog.

From Rara: Damn Solomon, whyya took it out? I wish you lose your phone somewhere close from me and i got Rob's number from your phone. -_-

AnnaLynne McCord auditioned for Heidi?

E!Online is now reporting that 90210’s, AnnaLynne McCord, has auditioned for Heidi in New Moon:

Sources tell me McCord has auditioned for the role. “It’s not a big part,” one of the sources said. “Heidi would be more like a cameo.”

McCord should feel pretty comfortable on the set. Her 90210 costar Kellan Lutz—and rumored real-life boyfriend—played Emmett in Twilight and will return for the sequel.

McCord’s rep did not immediately comment nor did a rep for the studio, Summit Entertainment.

New Moon cast will began shooting in Italy around May for two weeks:

Eagle Pictures, which released “Twilight” locally, announced on Tuesday that it has reupped with Summit Entertainment for the sequel, which will shoot in the ancient Tuscan city of Volterra for two weeks in May.
In Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling “New Moon,” Volterra is the town where the powerful Volturi vampire coven resides. Shooting on the pic begins in Vancouver in March, with “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reprising their roles.

Rob Pattinson and Kristen are now in Vancouver Canada

Twilight scriptwriter Melissa Rosenberg has confirmed that Twilight couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are now together in the pre-production stage, “[The original cast is] on set right now, in Vancouver! They’re all up there prepping the movie to start shooting very soon.”


Kristen Stewart recently finished promoting her indie film Adventureland in Sundance, while Robert Pattinson has been spotted unwinding in London by singing and drinking in pubs, since he was forced to drop out of the film Parts Per Billion because of the demands of the New Moon and Eclipse pre-prod and shooting schedule.


Director Chris Weitz is set to film New Moon and Eclipse simultaneously this year. New Moon is scheduled for a 20 November 2009 release.
